O*NET Directory

NOTE: The NCSC has updated database contents and documentation for versions 9.0-15.1, 17.0 and 18.0.  The changes involve renaming the ACTIVITY table to ACTIVITIES, the variable name used by the National O*NET Center for those versions of the database.  Database versions updated included Visual FoxPro and SAS/PC.  The Access versions had incorporated the correct table name..

The NCSC distributes resources based on each version of the O*NET database:

Current Production Version
  • Production (O*NET 20.1): This version was released in October 2015.  It is currently in use in O*NET Online and other online applications,

Supplemental Files: The National O*NET Center also develops a variety of crosswalk and other supplemental files.  Crosswalks link O*NET occupations to those used in other classifications, and to training programs.  Supplemental files contain information about O*NET occupations that are not included in the core database and are updated at intervals that differ from core database updates.  Our supplemental files page contains links to the current versions of these files.
