O*NET 13.0 Database

The National O*NET Center has released the development version of the O*NET 13.0 database. This database is being released to developers several months before it becomes the version used in online applications. This release brings to three the number of versions currently available:

  • Version 4.0 -- The last version of the database made up entirely of analyst ratings for occupations.
  • Version 12.0 -- The current production database.
  • Version 13.0 -- A development version of the next production database. Will go into production in the fall of 2008. (NOTE: Errata was released by the National O*NET Center on 7/29/2008. The changes indicated in the Interests table are included in the databases found on this page.

The NCSC develops versions of O*NET database and related files for use with a variety of database software programs. The development version of the O*NET 13.0 database is available in the following formats:

  ** Task information in Version 13.0 of the O*NET database is included in a different format. This table contains the updated task information in the file format used previously.

(NOTE: A revised Emerging Tasks table was released in June 2008 and represents the only content change in the supplemental files.)
