The NCSC RSS Feed
RSS ("Really Simple Syndication") defines a set of XML tags designed for sharing news items. It is commonly used for sharing new entries in Internet logs (blogs), although its use is growing among news organizations and interest groups. The NCSC uses this service for notifications of new products and services.
Requirements for receiving these notifications are minimal. All that's needed are a connection to the Internet and a piece of software known as an "aggregator." A number of aggregator software packages are available for downloading as freeware. Rather than providing all of the information here, this page contains links to RSS resources and tools.
